Dave & Leah (Seth’s younger sister) are expecting and due the beginning of February! Yes, they’re both due the same week….could be great excitement on this side of the states.

*Please pray for us as we step into this new position at church.
Pray that we will be a blessing to the church.
Pray that we will be able to work together on this.
Pray that this experience will give us more insight into the direction God has for us.
*Please pray for us as we are seriously considering Cambodia for internship. It seems to be an open door so far, so we are walking towards it.
*Please pray for both of our families as both are going through significant adjustments and changes. Pray that every member involved in each situation will keep their eyes on Jesus, and that we will be a blessing to our families in these times.

Congratulations are in order for Nicolas Griffin, my younger brother. He graduated from Marines Boot Camp in September and has since been selected for Presidential Guard! We are so proud of him and are excited to see what the future brings for him. Please keep him in your prayers.

It is with great joy that I can quote this wondrous song to Seth as we climb into bed every night!
"God rest ye merry gentleman! Let nothing you dismay!
For Keziah, your daughter will sleep til’ break of day!"
YES! She is sleeping through the night consistently now! I am amazed at what 6-8 hours of straight, solid, sleep will do for a person. I think part of the reason God gives us children is to remind us what frail, weak, needy creatures we are! It often hits me that it is only by His grace that I still possess a shred of sanity.
And it is only because of His wondrous love and mercy that I have been given this sweet little one. She is so worth all the sleep loss…the joy she brings to us is priceless.

It’s official! Seth has been hired on to our church staff as the Part-time Minister of Pre-school and Children’s Ministries. How’s that for a title? It’s an answer to prayer as we need to be working but wanted to be more involved with our church and were getting desperate for more time together.
Because both Seth and I have children’s ministry backgrounds we are hoping to be able to do a lot of the work together and we now have all the time in the world (well, alot more time anyway) to be involved with our church. It will also give Seth experience on church staff…something he’s been wanting to experience so as to get a little perspective on the direction God may be leading us.
I am excited to be able to be a part of what Seth is doing, (in contrast to just sending him off to work for a few hours every night) and am excited to jump into the fun of being a team in another aspect of life.
God is so good to us!
